SKLZ LOGO (new)

SKLZ has become the official training aid of the HJGT in 2009. SKLZ will be providing the overall boy and overall girl winner of each HJGT tournament with a Gyro Swing training club. The training club, valued at $220, has the angular momentum of a battery-powered 20,000 revolutions-per-minute gyroscope in the head of the club. The gyroscope forces the club to stay square as you swing it and provides a tactile, buzzing resistance when you swing off-plane or release early. The goal is to swing with the least resistance from the club. When swinging, if you are on plane, you will experience less resistance from the club’s gyroscope. Please visit their website at www.sklz.com.

The Thumb Caddy, the revolutionary new device that has helped countless golfers improve their game, has teamed up with the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) as an official sponsor of the tour. Designed for all ages and all levels of golf, the Thumb Caddy is a simple solution to a complex challenge: perfecting the grip. The rubber-coated plastic device keeps the golfer’s thumb in the proper position while swinging the club, resulting in increased muscle memory and straighter, more accurate and more consistent shots. It also prevents the user from gripping the golf club too tightly, which can affect the swing and result in poor performance. The devise is small enough to fit in a pocket and is a must-have for any golfer, from beginner to pro, who wants a surer grip and a more accurate swing. Please visit their website at www.thumbcaddy.net
